Kombucha - why does it sometimes go mouldy? - kombucha plant

I used to prepare it with some success, but then moved and took the form of continued pretty awful. Someone said, had Kombucha virus / infectious power of Kombucha destroyed in each region.

I went back, and recently I had one that looked very healthy, but it was too rusty, someone has the same problem / tips?
